MAKE Y LET
(Unidad 8 del libro "English plus+ 4, edit. Oxford)

Estos 2 verbos van seguidos de infinitivo sin "to". Veamos su uso:

MAKE (make-made-made)

I make
You make
He makes
She makes
It makes
We make
You make
They make

- Significa "forzar ú obligar a alguien a hacer algo"

He always makes me cry (presente) Siempre me hace llorar

He made me finish the exercises (pasado) Me hizo terminar los ejercicios

Don't make me drive that old car. (imperativo ó órdenes) No me hagas conducir ese coche viejo


LET (let-let-let)

- Significa "permitir, dejar"

My parents let me go to bed late on Saturdays.Mis padres me dejan acostarme tarde los sábados

Henry lets me use his laptop when he isn´t working. Henry me deja (permite) usar su portátil cuando no está trabajando

- va acompañado de  's  cuando lleva como sujeto omitido "we" para expresar sugerencias.
Let's go to the cinema !
